Full Review:

Stow Acres is a great value for the quality of the course you get for the money. Perhaps less so than last season though. If I'm not mistaken, the price has gone up this season. Stow Acres has 36 holes divided into the North and South Courses. I prefer the South but that is a matter of debate in my group. Overall, I recommend the course with a few small negatives listed below.

The Good

• Both courses are situated on plenty of land with good space between most holes
• Great looking holes carved through the woods
• Plenty of distance if you want it from the tips
• Well maintained -- the greens were rolling well last time I played there

The Bad

• The slowest snack bar I've ever seen. No joke -- I've seen it multiple times. The need to put more fire under the burners and under the snack bar staff.
• They advertise being 25 miles west of Boston. I'd say they're reaching for that one. The drive from Boston takes a solid 45 minutes to an hour. Give yourself time.
