Full Review:

Braintree Municipal is a great value for a muni course. It is well taken care of, provides plenty of challenge and has some good looking holes. If you get out in the early morning the pace of play is pretty good for a muni also. If you get out later in the day, it can slow down. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive round south of Boston.

The Good

• A solid muni experience without any of the odd/imcomplete/bizarre holes seen at some other local munis
• Cheap and even cheaper for Braintree residents
• Good looking course that is pretty well maintained
• Walkable

The Bad

• A painfully slow automated phone tee time system
• The green on #3 doesn't seem to have a legal hole position on it. It is one giant slope. I've seen 3 foot puts finish off the green. My friends and I play 3 putt max on it.
• The course can get pretty soggy with rain. It doesn't sit very high above the water that surrounds many of the holes
