Southers Marsh is the only high-end executive course I've ever seen. With no holes over 400 yards, it doesn't really meet the base requirements to be rated here. The course is very well maintained with gorgeous fairways surrounded by bogs that will snag wayward shots. I'm not an executive course fan, but the favorable reviews brought me in. After playing I've come to the conclusion that an executive course just isn't worth my time or money. If you like executive courses, Southers Marsh is for you. I'm still shocked, however, that various publications see fit to put it on "best of" lists -- it just isn't eligible to be part of those lists.
