Full Review:

I gave Widow's Walk its chances. Perhaps too many. I will give it credit for the ecological benefit and great views. The problem is that playing the course drives me (and all my playing partners) absolutely nuts. The layout for most holes includes fairway lined by marshlands. The result is that drives the miss the fairway tend to go missing. They line the marshes with red stakes so you can survive the impact on the scorecard, but the pain on going on ball searches hole after hole is just unbearable. I think that for most golfers, the ball search is the worst part of golf. My dad will always keep coming back to the idea of putting a radio inside all golf balls to make the searches faster. The conclusion here is that unless you don't mind looking for (and losing) balls or you hit a consistently straight drive, your would be better off looking elsewhere.

• May drive you insane
• May cost you as much in golf balls as greens fees (the first tee guy will remind you to check how many balls you have before going out)
